Oasis Ensemble Seeks New Works!

Each season to date, Oasis Ensemble has commissioned and programmed multiple world premieres, a musically rewarding process that has greatly expanded the quality repertoire specifically composed for flute-cello-piano trio. We continue to seek music that can reach our audience emotionally, with rich contrapuntal writing, and a variety of colors and dynamics, equally accessible to the audience and the performers. Last season we presented three world premieres: works by Brent Weaver, Carol Worthey, and Ryan Johnston. For the 2025-2026 season we will perform newly commissioned works by Italian composer Roberto Piana and Minnesota composer Ryan Johnston. We will also feature our 2025 Call for Scores competition first prize winner and several additional compositions that have earned honorariums.
We are always searching for new works for our ensemble to program in future seasons, and invite any interested composers to reach out to us at any time!
