Oasis Ensemble will present an eclectic mix of French, English and American music including two charming World Premieres! Frolic in the “Divertimento” by Paul Carr, then leave the hustle bustle of the city by going with us on a journey to your inner “Oasis” by Los Angeles composer, Carol Worthey, then experience the intricacies of the early 20th century Parisian style as exemplified by Gabriel Pierne. After intermission, be ready to bop along with the snazzy “Six Vignettes” by Oregon composer, Brent Weaver and bask in the beauty of a French Classical-Romantic Trio by pioneer female composer, Louise Farrenc (1857).
